With your Vimeo account details safely stowed in the OS X Mountain Lion vault, you're ready to start flinging
videos to your Vimeo fans. As an example, here are the steps to follow to upload a video from QuickTime Play-
er:
1. Use QuickTime Player to open the video you want to share.
2. Move the mouse pointer over the video to display the playback controls.
3. Click the Share icon and then click Vimeo. OS X displays the Vimeo share sheet.
4. Use the Title text box to type a name for the video.
5. Type a description of the photo.
6. Add one or more optional tags, separated by commas.
7. If you want everyone to see the video (not just you and those you authorize), deselect the Make this
movie personal check box. Figure 5.5 shows a video ready to upload to Vimeo.

8. Click Next. Vimeo displays its terms of service.
9. Click Share. OS X publishes the video to your Vimeo account.
Here are a few other ways to upload videos to Vimeo:
Photo Booth. Record a movie clip, select it, click the Share icon, and then click Vimeo. Fill in the title, de-
scription, and tags, choose the access level, and then click Publish.
Finder. Use Finder to click a video file, click the Share icon, click Vimeo, specify the upload data, and then
click Publish.
