7. Close or dock the Transform panel, and then choose File > Save.
Creating a text frame on the master page
Any text or graphic that you place on a master page appears on document pages to which
the master is applied. To create a footer, you'll add a publication title (“HockeyShot Essen-
tials Guide”) and a page number marker to the bottom of the verso (left) and recto (right)
pages of the document's facing-page master spread.
Note
When you draw a frame with the Type tool, the frame starts at the point of
the black arrowhead that's displayed in the upper-left corner of the I-beam
pointer. The arrowhead turns white when it's over a guideline.
1. Make sure that you can see the bottom of the left master page. If necessary, zoom
in and use the scroll bars or Hand tool ( ).
