Tip
The Auto-Size feature is ideal for individual text frames with a stroke and/
or fill providing a boundary for the text (for example, a sidebar or coupon).
Ifthetextgetsshorter,theframegetssmalleraswell.Ifthetextgetslonger,
it does not end up overset.
You will now use the Auto-Size feature to automatically adjust the size of the last text
frame based on the length of the text.
1. Using the Selection tool ( ), click in the text frame in the second column at the
right on page 7. Choose Object > Text Frame Options.
2. In the Text Frame Options dialog box, click the Auto-Size tab. From the Auto-Siz-
ing menu, select Height Only.
3. Click the center icon in the top row ( ) to indicate that you want the text frame
to “grow down” as if you were manually dragging the bottom handle of the text
frame down. Click OK.
