Exploring on your own
A good way to reinforce the skills you've learned in this lesson is to experiment with them.
Try some of the following exercises. They'll give you more practice with InDesign tech-
niques.
Tip
Choose View > Screen Mode > Normal to return to normal display as you
explore on your own.
1.
Place another photograph in the third column on page 3. Use the GraphicExtra.jpg
image that is inside the Links folder in the Lesson03 folder. After you click Open
in the Place dialog box, click where the horizontal ruler guide intersects with the
left margin of the third column, drag until the frame is as wide as the column, and
then release the mouse button.
