The Viewer node is added by pressing Shift+A and choosing Output > Viewer from the Add menu.
The first thing you will use multiple Viewer nodes for is to take a close look at the individual color channels
of the image. This is very helpful to get a sense of the actual values that you are working with, and it can help
to clarify how green screen matte pulling works.
1. To do this, first press Shift+A and choose Converter > Separate RGBA, as shown in Figure 9-41 . The
new Converter node has a single Image input socket and four output sockets representing the red, green,
blue, and alpha (RGBA) channels.
2. Add three new Viewer nodes by duplicating the first one you added and pressing Shift+D, and connect
them to the three color channels, as shown in Figure 9-42 (reproduced in color in the color insert of the
book).
