, if an effector group has been specified. In the same panel, you can set the degree
to which various types of forces (including Gravity, which is not a force field in fact, but a scene property) act
on the particle system. In the Force Field Settings tab, also shown in
Figure 6-14
, you can set various force
properties of the particle system itself, for example, a positive or negative electrical charge, which can interact
with external forces.

The following 12 types of force fields are available:
Force
Force force fields produce a force that emanates spherically from the center of the force field object,
as shown in
Figure 6-16
.
Negative force values on Force forces will attract the particles toward the center of
the force object.
