Step Seven:
If you know you're going to want to add
a caption along with your photo, there's a
checkbox for adding that, as well, and you
can choose built-in text presets that work
well for captioning.
TIP: If You Choose Fill, You Can
Reposition Your Image in the Cell
Just click right on the image and drag it
left or right, so the part you want to be
visible appears within the frame.
Step Eight:
Okay, now back to our layout. If you look
back to Step Three, you'll see that the
images on pages 2 and 3 probably need
to be swapped (for design purposes, you
generally don't want people looking off
the page. It's more pleasing, and has less
tension for the viewer, if they're looking
in toward the spine, so let's swap those
two pictures with each other). Click on
the photo on page 3 and drag it over on
top of page 2 (as shown here, top). When
you release your mouse button, the two
photos swap places (as shown here, bot-
tom). Now he's kind of facing in toward
the center of the topic and so is she. I'd
do the same thing on pages 4 and 5. The
tuk-tuk (three-wheeled taxi) is driving
off the page, and the Taj Mahal is aiming
off the page, as well, but now you know
how easy it is to swap these—just drag-
and-drop 'em.
