whereas Opera places the bottom of the image perceptively below the
baseline, but unlike Internet Explorer, not so low as to be just above the
next line of text.
With the bottom value, it's Opera's turn to agreewith Internet Explorer,
aligning the bottom of the image with the bottom of the line just above
the next line of text, whereas Firefox and Netscape place the bottom of
the image at the bottom of the character descender. Clear as mud? Per-
haps Figures 8-11 through 8-13 will help you to visualize the differences
when also compared with Figure 8-10 .
