Horizontal (On Side) Cylindrical Tanks
Calculating the volume of partially full horizontal cylindrical
tanks is more complex than the same calculation for vertical
cylindrical tanks. Table 5-2 shows the volume of common sizes of
these tanks. Other tank dimension volumes can be estimated
from these values. This type of tank is used primarily for smaller
volumes.
