You'll see a preview of what the camera sees (see Figure 53, Adding a
written signature to a PDF file ) . Hold the written signature you created so
that it rests on the blue line in the middle of the preview and fills the
interior lightened square within the preview window. After a few seconds,
you'll see snapshots of the signature start to appear on the right of the
window. When you see one you're happy with, click the Accept button.
Then close the Preferences dialog box.

Inserting the Signature
Once the signature is stored on file, inserting it each time you need to is easy.
1.
Make sure the PDF into which you want to insert the signature is open.
Click Tools→Annotate→Signature. Then click the signature button on
the annotations toolbar that appears—it's ninth from the left and looks
like an S placed on a line.
2.
The cursor will change to a crosshair; click anywhere to insert your sig-
nature. Click and drag the handles at the corners to resize it if necessary.
You can add several signatures in the way described earlier—just click the
plus button at the bottom left of the Preferences dialog box after selecting the
Signatures tab.
