Select the Zoom Resizes Windows check box (see Figure 2.5) if it is
not already selected. You will use this feature in Chapter 3, “Digital

The Preferences dialog box has a page interface. Click the Next button
repeatedly and take a look at what's under the hood. Click OK when
you're done poking around.

If you are worried after changing some preferences that you have messed
something up, don't. That's not really possible. However, you can reset the
preferences to the way they were when you first installed Photoshop. To do
so, press and hold Option+Command (
.
) +Shift (Mac OS) or Alt+Ctrl+Shift
(Windows) when you launch Photoshop. Release the keys when you see a
message asking whether you want to delete the current preferences and
choose Yes.
