6. Position the cursor inside the selection, hold Cmd, and drag to cre-
ate a copy of the selection. Continue in this way, copying the brick
texture to cover both perspective planes. Hold Shift whenever you
need to constrain the transform operation horizontally or vertically.
Figure 13.19 shows the result. Click OK to close the Vanishing Point
dialog box; the textures you've copied and pasted in Vanishing Point are
now placed on the Brick layer.

7. Toggle off the Brick layer and target the Background layer. Select
the Quick Selection tool. Drag over the stucco to make a quick selec-
tion. Hold Opt and remove areas from the selection that don't belong.
When you are satisfied that you have a good rough selection, click
Refine Edge on the options bar.
8. In the Refine Edge dialog box, select Smart Radius and drag the Radius
slider to 2.0 px. Figure 13.20 shows the preview in Refine Edge. Click OK.
9. Toggle on the Brick layer and select it in the Layers panel. Click Add
Layer Mask at the bottom of the Layers panel to convert the selection
into a mask. Change the blend mode of the Brick layer to Multiply
to the darken the image and reduce its opacity to 75%. Figure 13.21
shows the result.
Soft Light is another
nice blend mode in
this scenario.
