Retouching Photos
Retouching is the art of manipulating the contents of photos. Reasons for
retouching include selectively controlling exposure, removing blemishes, adding
special effects, and even outright deception. Ethics aside, photo manipulation
is as old as photography itself. What used to require an airbrush is now easily
accomplished in Photoshop.

Using Retouching tools
There is no one-click solution to retouching, and each photo presents its own
challenges, depending on what you want to alter. Fortunately, there are sev-
eral specialized retouching tools that aid in the art of photo manipulation.
