2. Press D to set the default colors so black is in the foreground.
3. Select the Paint Bucket tool and set the Source For Fill Area drop-down
to Foreground. Mode should be left as the default Normal and Opacity
should be at 100%. Set Tolerance to 0 because this is a line drawing (in a
photograph, you might want to use a higher tolerance setting so the paint
would fill more than one color). Select Anti-alias, Contiguous, and All
Layers so that you can fill in between the lines of the underlying layer.

FIGURe 9.2 Use the paint bucket to fill in areas as shown
5. Choose Layer a Layer Style a Color Overlay. Click the color swatch
in the Layer Style dialog box that appears, type 555555 in the # text
box ( # indicates hex color), and click OK to close the Select Overlay
color picker. One advantage to setting the fill color with the Color
Overlay effect is that you can change your mind at a later date and/
or explore different options using Layer Comps, which you'll learn
more about in the section “Using Layer Comps” later in this chap-
ter. Figure 9.3 shows the Layer Style dialog box displaying the Color
Overlay effect page. Click OK to close the Layer Style dialog box.
