drag the Saturation slider to 69. The entire image is saturated in
red because adjustment layers normally affect all the layers below
them in the stack. Click the first icon on the left at the bottom of the
Properties panel (see Figure 8.20). The adjustment layer is indented
in the Layers panel, clipping to Layer 1, so that only this layer is tinted
red. Clipped layers affect the pixels on the underlined layer only.
