8. Chose Layer a Layer Style a Blending Options. Open the blend
mode drop-down in the Layer Style dialog box and select Normal.
Open the Blend If drop-down and select Blue. Drag the This Layer
highlight slider (white slider on the right) to the left until it reads
182. Hold Opt and drag the left half of this slider farther to the left
until it reads 53 (see Figure 8.15). You are now blending the blue
highlights of Layer 1 with the Background layer. Splitting the one
slider into two parts creates a gradient that ramps up until it is fully
blended. Click OK.
