Paint horizontal strokes over the sky and swirly strokes over the reflec-
tion of the sky in the lake. Paint a few horizontal strokes over the
mountains. Paint a few horizontal strokes over the reflections of
the mountains in the lake. Purple paint loaded on the brush is mixed
with the moist paint on the canvas, resulting in a painting with hues
not seen in the original photograph (see Figure 4.29).
