The lengths of the brace stub of a tubular joint should be within the range of
design length +50 mm to design length

The tolerances on the positioning and alignment of stubs on tubular joints
are (see Figure 5.11 ).

The centerline of the brace at the intersection with the chord wall should be
within 5 mm of the construction drawing where chord diameter
