You can select objects to link on the Select Objects page.

NOTE
Analysis Services enables you to create only linked dimensions and linked measure
groups. Any other object you select is simply re-created in the target database by BI
Dev Studio. For example, if you click Calculations under the Warehouse and Sales
cube, BI Dev Studio appends all the calculations from the source cube into the calcula-
tion script of the target database.

Select the Sales measure group and the Store and Time dimensions, and then advance to
the Completing the Wizard page. On this page, you can see that all the dimensions and
measures in your linked measure group have been renamed. BI Dev Studio renamed them
to prevent name clashes in the target database.

When you complete the wizard, you will verify a new measure group created in your
FoodMart 2008 Linked database: Sales 1 . In the dimension usage pane, the Sales 1
measure group is associated with the ProductStandard , Store1 , and Time 1 dimensions. BI
Dev Studio is doing quite a bit of work for you.
