2. Connect to your Analysis Services server.
3. In Object Explorer, expand the list of databases and navigate to the FoodMart
2008 database.
4. Right-click the Assemblies node, and choose New Assembly from the resulting menu.
5. In the Register Database Assembly dialog box, select SimpleStoredProcedure.dll as
the filename of the assembly.
6. SQL Server Management Studio produces a name of the assembly that is, by default,
the same as the name of the file. You can change it; but in this example, we keep the
default name as shown in Figure 14.2.

You can use SQL Server Management Studio to deploy the assembly to a server.
7. Keep the default values of the remaining properties, Permissions and
Impersonation , and click OK.
NOTE
In the current release of Analysis Services, you cannot register common language run-
time assemblies on local cubes, only on the server.
