vironmental problems begins with the way we eat. Reducing or
eliminating meat, egg, and dairy consumption, or, at the very least,
choosing not to support industrialized factory-farmed products
and, instead, selecting organic products from pasture-based farm-
ing systems, is a crucial part of reducing our environmental foot-
print. Animal agribusiness cannot be business as usual, whether
for the welfare of animals or the devastating effects of climate
change. We must and can do better.
