From the main menu select Edit Copy . Note that by not treating
the table as an object, you will be able to access the contents of the
table.
Open the Word document into which you want to place the table
and set the cursor at the place where you wish the table to appear.
With the Word document as the active window, select Edit Paste .
The table will now appear in the document.
Save the Word document to an appropriate location.
The output is now in your Word document in the form of a table
(tables have their own special format in Word). All of the information
from SPSS will be there but it may look a bit different from the way it
looked in SPSS (depending on how your system defaults are set up). The
good news is that the material can be edited and formatted just as you
would edit any Word table (e.g., select a column or row, change the font,
widenornarrowthecolumns).
