12.16 COMMUNICATING THE RESULTS
Six single heads of households participated in this within-subjects design.
Individuals laundered their clothes by using aqua or orange boxes containing
white, light green, or light blue powder that either did or did not contain
granules. These heads of households evaluated the degree to which they were
satisfied with each detergent after each load of laundry. All effects met the
assumption of sphericity as tested by Mauchly's procedure.
All effects were statistically significant except for the main effect of box
color. The summary tables are shown in Table 12.1. The three-way interac-
tion was statistically significant, F (2, 10)
