7.14 COMMUNICATING THE TUKEY RESULTS
In reporting the results of the Tukey test, we would probably construct
a small table (call it Table 1 for the sake of the write-up) of means and
standard deviations rather than reporting them in the text. Given that,

7.15 PRESET CONTRASTS IN SPSS
7.15.1 CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PRESET CONTRASTS
There is a set of contrasts that are already structured in SPSS to make
certain comparisons. We have called these preset contrasts but SPSS just
calls them contrasts in the Contrasts dialog window. These preset con-
trasts are listed in Table 7.3 together with some of their characteristics.
