designs covered in Chapters 8 and 9, respectively.
Select Analyze ANOVA Linear Models . The window for this
procedure opens on the TaskRoles tab; this is highlighted in the navigation
panel in the left portion of the window shown in Figure 6.10. At the top
of the panel labeled Linear Models Task Roles , there is already a place
for a dependent variable being specified. Highlight satscore and drag it
to the icon for Dependent variables .Thendrag group to the icon for
Classification variables . At that point your screen should look similar to
that shown in Figure 6.11.
Both satscore and group are
now brought into the analysis.
The “Analysis variable” is the
dependent variable in the
summary.
