A blinking LED is just one example of an output
with Galileo, and there are plenty of other types
of outputs available to you. For instance, a
speaker can play tones or a motor can drive the
wheels of a robot. LEDs, speakers, and motors
convert the electrical energy from Galileo into
some other form of energy. An LED converts
electrical energy into light energy. A speaker
converts electrical energy into sound energy.
And a motor converts electrical energy into
mechanical energy.
