The Actions Bar is new
for Photoshop Elements
11 and can be found in
both the Organizer and
Editor workspaces.
Hide side panel:
Displays or hides the left side panel.
Undo/Redo Buttons:
Reapplies or removes the last action.
Image rotate buttons:
Change the orientation of a selected picture by clicking one of these
buttons. You can also perform the same action to several images at once by multi-selecting
the files first.
Add People, Places, and Events buttons:
Manually tag photos with people, places and/or
event details so they can be categorized according to these settings.
Slide Show buttons:
Show selected images in full-screen slideshow mode.
Go to Editor button:
Display the Editor workspace and open any currently selected images
into the workspace.
Thumbnail size slider:
Slide the control to the left to reduce the size of the thumbnails, and
to the right to increase their dimensions.
Instant Fix button:
Display the Instant Fix pane on the right of the workspace.
Tags/Info button:
Switch the right side panel display to show the Tags and Info panes.
The Organizer Bottom Bar
At the bottom of the Organizer window is yet another bar containing settings and informa-
tion. Termed the bottom bar, here you will find the name of the catalog, the number of items
selected, the number of items being displayed and total number of items in the catalog.
