Emailing from Photoshop.com
In an earlier section of this chapter we looked at different ways to email your photos to your
friends and relatives from Photoshop Elements, but while we are discussing features found
at Photoshop.com, we should examine the site's email potential as well.
Let's start with the simple task of how to email individual photos. After selecting the photo
that you want to send from the My Library workspace, click onto the Share button at the
bottom of the screen and choose the Email Selected Item option from the pop-up menu. This
will display a small E-mail Photo window where you can add an address and a short mes-
sage before clicking the Share button.
If you want to send the same image to multiple recipients then you can add several addresses
in the dialog as long as they are each separated by a comma.
Photoshop.com also lets you make use of the email contacts that you already have stored on
your computer. Most users will already have a collection of addresses stored in their email

Include existing contact details in the To area of the E-mail Photo dialog by clicking on the (1) person
icon in the top-right and selecting the contact from the listed entries. New entries can be created with
the Add Contact or Add Group buttons (2). Sets of existing details can be added via the options in the
Import Contact menu (3).
program. Photoshop.com can import and use these contacts with its email features. You can
import contacts from Yahoo!Mail, Gmail or MSN Hotmail or synchronize the contacts you
already have in your Photoshop Elements Contacts Book (this happens by default). When
emailing a photo from Photoshop.com y ou have the option of clicking onto the person icon
in the top right of the E-mail Photo window and selecting the recipients for the message
from the contacts listed.
Contacts are managed in the My Contacts dialog. They are imported by selecting the type
from the Import Contacts menu on the top left of the dialog. Individual email addresses or
groups of details can also be created via the Add Contact and Add Group buttons.
Emailing an Album
Photoshop.com also has the ability to email a link to an album of photos. At the moment
