The menu bar provides access to the major
features and commands in the program.
(1) Main menu bar.
(2) Menu.
(3) Sub-menu.
The Image menu contains features that change the shape, size, mode and orientation of the
picture. Grouped under the Enhance heading is a range of options for altering the color,
contrast and brightness of images, as well as the Auto Sharpen, Adjust Sharpness and
Convert to Black and White features. All functions concerning image layers and selections
are contained under the Layer and Select menus. The special effects that can be applied to
images and layers are listed under the Filter menu, but the sharpen filters can be found in
the Enhance menu.
Selecting a menu item is as simple as moving your mouse over the menu, clicking to show
the list of items, and then moving the mouse pointer over the heading you wish to use. With
some selections a second menu (sub-menu) appears, from which you can make further
selections.
