Vimeo
Like YouTube, Vimeo provides
users the chance to show off
their video files online. You can
choose to have the clips availa-
ble for everyone to see or restrict
the viewing to only those you
nominate.
Start by selecting the video file(s) you want
to upload from all of your assets in the Or-
ganizer workspace. Remember the you can
use the options in the View > Media Types
menu to filter the files being displayed. For
instance, selecting Video from this menu and
nothing else will only show thumbnails of
the video files in your catalog.
Like all sharing sites you will need to have an
account with Vimeo in order to upload your
files. You can create an account on the
Vimeo.com website or from the Authorize
screen in Photoshop Elements. Once this is
done then click Authorize to allow Elements
and Vimeo to talk with each other.

In the next screen that is displayed you can
add in a title and description and check the
video being uploaded. There is also a drop
down menu with options for the privacy set-
tings for the video. Finally, choose if you want
others to be able to download the video from
the site and then press the Upload button.
After the upload process is completed, a new
screen shows that your video file is being
processed by Vimeo. After a few minutes the
video will be available on the site.
