The Optimization Model of Campus Network Port
Resources Based on Queuing Theory

Abstract. In this paper, give full consideration to the Internet utilization, waste
rate, complaint rate and other indicators, building on the model about campus
network issues. Through the study of campus information network this stochas-
tic service system, analyzed the service quality and system resources this pair of
contradictions, application of the principle of queuing theory, the mathematical
model was established, determined the communication port number, and ad-
justed the charge system, on the basis of ensuring regular service quality indica-
tors, making service facilities cost economic and reasonable.

1 Introduction
Today's society has entered the information society, information has become a core
element of social and economic development, information technology has become the
trend in today's world, our campus network construction is gradually warming up, and
digital campus continues to accelerate the pace of construction. Many areas and
schools regarded construction of the campus network as a symbol of modernization.
According to the construction of campus net needs to solve the following tasks: 1.
Determine the port number and the ratio of number of Internet users.2. Discussion on
an average day each user Internet 1h, 1.5 h, 2h, 3h, 4h, the possibility of 5h, appear
because of the line is busy user wants to Internet instead produced the possibility and
communication port complain the average usage, 3. In order to control the Internet
time, gives a kind of reasonable piecewise timing charging circuits' scheme[1].
The key to solve mission in the following: 1. the task requires us to fully consider
Internet indices (such as Internet utilization, waste rate, complaint rate, etc.), deter-
mined the port number and the ratio of number of Internet users. How to explain
the correctness and rationality of results we obtained become a problem we need to
consider[2]. We can use multi-objective programming unit above three index reunifi-
cation together, establish evaluation function, and how to establish evaluation func-
tion becomes a key to solve this problem. 2. Any campus network construction, and
must have the earlier investigation data. In the completion of tasks of process, we
