understanding of object-orientation, thus establishing the foundation of further mas-
tering other object-oriented tools.
What should be paid special attention to is that discussion and seminars need to be
held regularly among C++ teaching team so that different parts in teaching integrate
better within the same theme of teaching.
6 Conclusions
By taking into integrating the specific characteristics of both the course itself and po-
tentials of Chinese students, the paper insists that C++ language should be adopted at
the initial stage and excellent classical textbook home and abroad should be attached
as well; while as to hybrid bi-lingual teaching methods, the percentage of English
teaching should be multiplied to the maximum. The teachers ought to be careful and
considerate in designing various phases of the delivery of the course and choose the
right textbook according to the knowledge foundation of different students. On these
bases, necessary regular teaching methods would turn out effective during the process
of teaching, which has been proved by the author's five-year teaching practice.
