In-Depth Information
distance is instead of the actual distance, the error is reduced because of the decreas-
ing the number of jumps, however, the cycle of refinement to results of positioning
reduces the influence of the pointing accuracy which caused by higher node deviation
and the lower connectivity, finally achieves the purpose of improving the positioning
accuracy.
5 Conclusion
This paper has analyzed range-based and range-free positioning technology, and to-
ken most focus on DV-HOP and LDV-HOP positioning technology. And the circula-
tion refinement link has been added to LDV-HOP. The simulation result and the
physical applications have proved that LDV-HOP algorithm which has been increased
cycle refinement link is more applicability and superiority in the local orientation. It
also have reduced location error, and delayed the communication load. For
the requirements of low power WSNs, the purpose of positioning can be achieved
effectively.
