Considerations of the Subject Teaching Method Applying
in the Information Technology Course

Abstract. "Information technology" is a basic course of computing. It is foun-
dation of many following courses. Taking educational reform as the turning
point, considering military academy students' specific demands, and combing
new personnel training plan, the author proposed the application to enhance the
students' information accomplishment by integrating the subject teaching
method in "Information technology" course.

1 Introduction
"There are methods in teaching, but there isn't fixed method in teaching". Teaching
needs to begin with the reality, and it exhibits differently according to different people
or different time. It should not fix to one teaching method. Introducing the subject
teaching method to the teaching of information technology course can stimulate the
students' study interest and bring student's initiative. It makes the students study
the course heart and soul, thus it enhances student's Information Literacy. It meets the
demand of education for all-around development.
Actually, teaching is influenced by many factors. How to grasp the “subject” of
subject teaching method? Can the subject which is novel, interesting and stimulating
student's interest be taken as the subject? Will it mislead understanding of students like
this? Combining characteristics of subject and information technology course teaching,
this article analyzes how to apply subject teaching into information technology course
and proposes suggestions about subject's designing.
2 Characteristics of Subject Teaching Method and Information
Technology Course
2.1 Understanding of Subject Teaching Method
The effective teaching improves the quality of teaching. Bao Ritchie, American
teaching potency expert, proposed that there are five essential behaviors to achieve
