The higher vocational education focuses on the “teaching”, with the main purpose
of providing applied talents in the modern production for the society and it is the basis
for the development of national economy.
Because the vocational education concerns the factors in various aspects, such as
society, school, enterprise and students, it is a complicated systems engineering and
their general relationships are as follows:

In Figure 1, the square frames stand for the procedure items while the round frames
stand for the external influencing factors.
The modern science and technology develops so rapidly that we even can use explo-
sion to describe its expansion speed and the development of science and technology
directly affects the economic development. It does not only can speed up the updating
and upgrading of traditional careers, but also can create many new careers, which
brings huge challenges for the higher vocational education, namely, how to adjust the
education direction to adapt to the modern higher vocational education.
2 The Self-adaptability at School Level in the Higher Vocational
Education
The self-adaptability generally refers to the stress reaction of organisms to the envi-
ronment and the organisms adjust their own various states with a view to adapt to the
change of environment and survive.
