On Self-adaptability of the Higher Vocational Education

Abstract. The higher vocational education bears the dual-task of transmitting
the human survival culture and development culture. And its educational charac-
teristics make it have to adjust its teaching management, content, method and ob-
jective and other items in the teaching as soon as possible so as to adapt to the
employment pressure on the students from the career along with the economic
development and change in the progress of science. The discussion about the
self-adaptability of higher vocational education aims at making the teaching
catch up with the development of economy and science and technology, shorten
the gap between the vocational education and vocational demand and replace the
educational mode with rapid and active self-adaptive change for the educational
mode with traditionally passive change with a view to really make the higher
vocational education play a due role in the development of national economy.

Introduction
Various experience and conclusions that the human beings write down are culture.
Contextualizing the essence of the human activities is an important basis for the hu-
man development, because it can make people possibly do something for the human
development in their short life based on the effective learning of previous culture.
1 Higher Vocational Education
The vocational education belongs to the category of survival cultural education and it
is a means of transmitting culture with the technology culture as the major educational
content. And the higher vocational education is a means of transmitting culture with
the modern technology culture as the major educational content and the so-called mod-
ernization here refers to the high technology of vocational purpose and the mode of
production with high yield and high efficiency. This mode must be the vocation based
on the modern science and technology. And it is based on the new materials, new
methods, mew processes and new theories and is also the concentrated embodiment of
non-traditional vocations. Besides, it is also different from the traditional vocational
education with a slow updating based on the manual labor in the non-higher vocational
education.
