2 Build Model by Interactive Simulation
Maybe there are three typical applications in simulation the engineers or scholars al-
ways like to use. Firstly, if someone get a two-dimension plane drawing has been
drew by AutoCAD software or CAXA software, three-dimension solid model should
get more convenient by this technology than to draw it directly. Secondly, build fluid
model always based on build the container model and through interactive simulation
to get the fluid model from other software. Thirdly, by use some user definition pro-
grams to build some complexity model. There are many papers have used these meth-
ods before and following examples have been introduced by author to illustrate these
applications [9, 11].
2.1 Plane Drawing to Solid Model
Most engineers like to draw two-dimension plane drawing by AutoCAD software or
CAXA software. It is a widely habit in engineering whether Mechanical Engineering
or other engineering. But if someone should solve the motion or other relation that
three-dimension solid model should be built for later analysis. And the engineer will
hope to build the solid model depends on size relationship of plane drawing directly.
It should reduce many works and save some time of production developing.
Fig.1a is a plane drawing of Hydraulic impactor that get from AutoCAD software.
Now if you want to get the three-dimension solid model you should export this pro-
gram as .dwg form and import it into Solidworks or other software you used to build
solid model. When import the plane drawing into Solidworks software some features
should be deleted and only reserve a few features. And a three- dimension solid model
of piston has got by Solidworks very easy like fig.1b. An important point is that be-
fore import other analysis software you should save the three-dimension solid model
as .step form best.
2.2 Fluid Model Build
The shape of all flow fluid is depends on the shape of container that contact with
fluid. So we should build the fluid model through container model indirect. In this
