Learning content is not the traditional academic disciplines, but based on software
technology activities analysis, according to the software design activities, horizontally
integrated knowledge and skills. In the requirement of teaching objectives
classification, to create the project course which will foster the software design ability.
There are three components which are independent but also closely related in the
system of developmental evaluation of project course. They are: the Evaluation of
Course Construction, the Evaluation of Course Implementation and the Evaluation of
Course Performance.
4.1 The Developmental Evaluation of Project Course Construction
The development evaluation of project course construction is to investigate if the
project course focuses on training student design ability in software development. The
evaluation content should include: The relevancy between the project course content
and the requirement from software design job; the consistency between the interests
and development of student; the harmony between the project course content and the
course resources acquired from college; the rationality of the course setting; whether
the teachers have the will, knowledge and ability to set the project course; whether the
project course meets the students' interests and needs; whether the project course
objectives are clear; whether the project course can meet the needs of students in
different level; whether choose the appropriate project contents; whether the
organization of the course content is reasonable and so on.
4.2 The Developmental Evaluation of the Implementation of the Project Course
The main content of the implementation of the project course is that: through
continuous understanding the behavior of teachers, students and course manager, to
detect the difficulties and problems appearing in the process of curriculum
implementation, in order to effectively control the progress of the project course. The
evaluation contents should mainly include: whether the teaching model meets the
requirements of project course and the guidance of the advanced theory of the Higher
Vocational Education; whether learning solutions follows the basic discipline that the
way for student to acquire knowledge and learn abilities; how the effectiveness of the
learning situation and the professional situation; whether teaching methods is suitable
for the functional requirements of project courses; the integrity of course documents;
whether teaching team members can trace and feedback in time in the process of
implementation, appropriately adjust the finishing status of projects, achieve the aim of
the project course and so on.
4.3 The Developmental Evaluation of the Performance of Project Course
The developmental evaluation of the performance of project course is the evaluation
that assess the objectives of course study and the execution of student personalized
objectives. Good program performance is one of the purposes of course reform. The
evaluation contents should include: whether achieve the intended objective in the
