Abstract.
Higher Vocational Education should foster and improve student's
professional ability, and concentrate on student overall growth and the continued
development of their career. The developmental direction of Higher Vocational
Education model is the Higher Vocational Project Course, which will effectively
perform the guiding role of evaluation mechanisms in project course. This paper
starts with the connotation of the project course developmental evaluation in the
Higher Vocational Education, and then discusses the methodology and
construction of the developmental evaluation of the project course.

1 Introduction
The critical factor for Higher Vocational Education to foster highly skilled personnel is
to develop and improve the professional competence of students. Nowadays, the
project course model based on working process becomes the orientation of the Higher
Vocational Education reformation. For software major, curriculum is inclined to start
with the “do”. In the specified projects, let student to learn professional knowledge,
skills. Therefore, the project course plays an important role in fostering software major
students.
However, due to the current implement of the project course still in the exploratory
stage, especially for the evaluation of the project course still in the research stage. As
the evaluation method has leadership function in the process of curriculum design and
implementation, instead of using the traditional curriculum evaluation methods, it is
critical to introduce new evaluation methods suited to the project course.
