until reach the capacity of the vehicle, and then transported to the company. The time
consumption of transportation determined by speed and distance based on normal
distribution. When the vehicle arrive at company it must be weighed to get net weight
of rapeseed, and then it is dispatched based on the type of trucks and quality of
rapeseed at the dispatching location, finally it is unloaded in the warehouse. The
process of unloading is carried out by corresponding processor at the end of the
unloading processer the flow-item will be sent to a sink where it will exit the model.
3.2 Setting of Parameters
In the model the rape field is described Fixed-Resource that handles flow-items in a
certain way. They receive flow-items through their input ports, and then release the
flow-items to be sent on through their output ports. The harvesters as processor
receives exactly one kind of flow-items and do something to those flow-items, then
release it to the next queue where only the quantity reached the capacity the flow-
items are transported by vehicles. The different processor time is determined by real-
life statistics and calculation. 4 type of harvester process time are 10.07, 7.08, 8.67,
7.58 min respectively in random assortment. The transporter 23-33 process times
determined by type of vehicle (speed1, speed2 and speed 3; capacity 1, capacity 2 and
capacity3), distance (5-30km) and other traffic conditions in random assortment. The
model parameters sets and components are listed in the table 1.
