On Virtual Expert of Knowledge Management
an Extenics Oriented Ontology

Abstract. Based on intensive investigation of Chinese classics the paper
presents a novel ontological frame for management of seemingly incompatible
knowledge to serve wisdom infrastructure. With the unity-contradiction model,
the paper finds that existence of knowledge is defined by the identity property
in a contradiction, its extensibility lies in the equilibrium property of identity
aspect. By changing the equilibrium pattern one can resolve the incompatibility
or inconsistency. The paper indicates that KM expert is dependent on cognition
and communication manner basically tacit, in which extensibility plays the
primary role. It also suggests an oriental approach above logic layer to codify
knowledge behavior.

1 Introduction: Knowledge(k) ≠ Knowledge(k)
What is the virtual expert of knowledge management system (KMS)? Does virtual
expert mean the human expert who manages KMS? No, neither consultant. Hereby I
refer to the virtual agent comprises knowledge grid, KMS, KM managers workers and
human experts, consultant, users. Thus it is crucial to make an extenics based oriental
approach to the meta level ontology of such agent.
In his paper “To be or not to be, A multidimensional logic approach” Carlos
Gershenson has generalized proofs on: (a) Everything is and isn't at a certain degree.
(b)Nothing can be proved (that it exists or doesn't) (author: relative to our current
intelligence). (c) I believe, therefore I am. (i.e., I take it true, because I believe so)
