In-Depth Information
2) Personnel isomerism
The personnel composition in one project group should be an advantage combination
of different knowledge backgrounds and majors. For example, for the subject of
management system of evidence collecting, because the persons designing this system
should know about laws knowledge if they want to do it well, so we organize the
students taking law course as the second major and those learning same program
design language to compose the project group. The isomerism in professional
knowledge of personnel will enable different persons to exert their own professional
advantages for mutual benefit and learn each other to finish the course design better.
3) Evaluation isomerism
Because the difficulties of various types of projects are different, for example, the
subjects of classical cases type are easier; more people will choose this type of
subjects and the chances of communication or learning each other are much more, so
this type of subjects are completed better. While the projects of special areas type and
distinctive projects type have characteristics such as limited practice environment,
difficult demand analysis and shortage of successful systems which can be used for
reference. Hence, there exists isomerism to some extent in the process of evaluating
projects. The emphases of evaluation are function improvement for the projects of
classical cases type, and demand improvement and reasonable database design for the
projects of other types.
3 Teaching Example
We take the distinctive project such as management system of evidence collection for
example, and introduce how to embody the teaching characteristic that is taking
project as the main theme and project as the soul.
The evidence collection management system stores evidences obtained with the
mode of large object and selects parts of feature data as attribute of relation. This kind
of management system requires students should have some knowledge in theory of
laws to develop it, and know the business flow and justice tradition of computer
evidence collection, at the same time master the knowledge of project management
and database development. The process of project development should follow five
steps described in section 2.1. In the five steps, the contents of project planning stage
are the same to those of showing results stage, so we only give priority to introducing
the key steps and teaching link with feature of isomerism which are project proposing
(personnel isomerism), project implementing, project evaluation (evaluation
isomerism) to avoid redundancy.
3.1 Project Proposing (Personnel Isomerism)
We design the sub-project (sub-task) and arrange personnel from the aspects of
demand analysis, development and design, coding and testing according to the flow of
project development. The emphasized ability of each task obtained by students will be
different, and the requirements to knowledge background are different too. In the
stage of demand analysis, students should know judicature practice to some degree
and master some knowledge in theory of laws, so we must pay attention to put
