Approach of Web2.0 Application Pattern Applied to
the Information Teaching*

Abstract. This paper firstly focuses on the development and function of Web2.0
from an educational perspective. Secondly, it introduces the features and
theoretical foundation of Web 2.0. Consequently, The application pattern used in
the information teaching based on the introduction described above is elaborated
and proved to be an effective way of increasing educational productivity. Lastly,
this paper presents the related cases and teaching resources for reference.

1 Introduction
Web2.0, the general term of the new generation for the Internet application, has been
deeply rooted in people's daily life with its features: special personality, sharing
(information sharing, the sharing of sources, sharing ideas and resources), openness,
focusing on the customers' experience and emphasizing the interaction. The modern
information technology education philosophy advocates creating an atmosphere which
centers on “the students” instead of “the teachers, paying attention to the interaction and
sharing during the process of study, cultivating the students' ability of independent
innovation, solving the problem by oneself and coordinated cooperation. So the
quintessence of Web 2.0 is identical with the idea of modern information teaching.
Besides, it can provide powerful technical support and guarantee for its implementation.
2 The Main Features and Theoretical Foundation of Web 2.0
2.1 The Main Features of Web 2.0
Web 2.0 is the upgrading of Internet in the aspect of idea and ideology. There is a great
change in the Internet system. The former one was top-down and in charge of the
