domains are striped across the two boards. Now if the MAC fails on a board,
both domains go down, but both will come back up without the XSB that
contains the broken MAC. Business uptime requirements will dictate which
configuration makes the most sense.

2.3 Managing Domains
As mentioned earlier, domains are managed several ways:
CLI
Serial. Every XSCF is equipped with a dedicated serial port. This port is
considered the primary console for the XSCF, and every M-Series server
