Notice the Bridge pull-down menu, which specifies the physical interface on the
host that should be associated with this virtual interface. In this example, all of
the host Oracle VM Server nodes have their networks connected to their first net-
work (instance 0), so the device xenbr0 is selected. Any other physical connection
on the Oracle VM Server node could be selected for association with the virtual
network. If a network connection plumbed on the third interface was the desired
association, for example, you would select xenbr2 .
As previously mentioned, it is often a good idea to tie the name of the VM to
the host name of the operating system running within the VM. This convention
might require using the MAC address provided for the primary network to reserve
a predetermined IP address. In this example, this has been done by reserving the
IP address for this network interface in the local DHCP server.
To complete this step, review the summary page, shown in Figure 8.8, and click
the Confirm button.

8.3.2.4 Step 4: Provisioning the Oracle Solaris Virtual Machine
At this point, Oracle VM will begin the provisioning process for this VM. Refresh
the Oracle VM Manager screen to follow its progress. Figure 8.9 shows the status
