What's great about already owning a 3D printer when you're considering building
your own is that you'll also have the capability to print many of the parts that will
go into the build-it-yourself (BIY) 3D printer using your existing printer. Gears,
connector pieces, and much more can also be printed with your current 3D print-
er, saving you some money. If your 3D printer doesn't have the capability to print
some of the larger parts required, you can always find individuals online who are
willing to sell them to you for a small fee.
