specific light and colour circumstances when it is blowing, cloudy weather or time
of the day. An old prescription technique is given in Minnaert (1954) often used
by the painters to increase the colour richness of the landscape. By observing the
scene with the head downwards bending forward and looking between the legs a
new and intense experience will be exploring the colours. The intense feeling of
colours is supposed to be related to the increased flow of blood into the head. On
the other hand, a minor blood flow is reported to occur when lying on one side on
the ground but the effect may still be experienced.
2.3
APPLICATIONS
It is very useful to get an initial insight about, and a basic knowledge how, the
world around us is perceived and how we are conceptualised by this content.
Nature may show how situational sensations actually are presented to us and
refined distinctions of another are received through our human senses. It is very
enlightening to have at least a minimum awareness regarding the discrepancies
that may occur in the sensation of nature that will affect our perception. Phys-
ical qualities may affect the final impression differently, depending on who is
