lip, and clear nasolabial grooves were observed. The facial pro-
file improved after the placement of dental implant-based prosthe-
sis, though the aesthetic problem of the upper lip still remained.
After serial injections of mucosal fibroblasts and prosthetic treat-
ment, the facial profile, as well as the lip wrinkles, showed signif-
icant improvement. Subjective and objective improvement scores
were obtained at every follow-up visit. Fair improvement (grade
3) was observed after 3 months and remained the same up to 12
months after treatment. The patient's subjective assessment was
grade 2 (satisfied) 3 months after injection, and throughout the
1-yearfollow-upperiod.Anintradermalinjectionofautologousgin-
gival fibroblasts, together with the placement of a dental implant
prosthesis, significantlyimproved theperioralskintextureandalle-
viated wrinkles.
