In this chapter, the basic concept of the electrospinning tech-
nique, especially its uses regarding the fabrication of poly(3-
hydroxybutyrate-co-3-hydroxyvalerate) (PHBV)/proteins nanofi-
brous scaffolds, is described. After interaction of an as-prepared
PHBV/proteins composite with cells, the morphological and bio-
logical phenomena are comprehensively reviewed on the basis of
selectiveresearchstudies.Thepolymernanocompositesexhibited
higher cell adhesion, proliferation, and cell viability comparison
with nonconjugated nanofibers. Thus the prepared nanocompos-

dressing, and otherbiomedical applications.
