stent. During valve closure, the tissue will rub against the stent when the tissue
is wrapped on the outside of the stent; when the tissue is wrapped inside the
stent, the tissue rubs against tissue during valve closure. Tissue abrasion against
a cloth-covered stent was the primary mechanism of failure for the Ionescu±
